Hey folks,

A friend of mine back home is doing a PhD in psych, looking (amongst other things) at perceptions of nature and of gender. She needs participants in a quick on-line survey. It's mostly ticky box stuff, gut reactions/perceptions, and all anonymous. If you have 10 minutes to spare, you'd be helping someone out, and it's an interesting question to ponder. I think my answers (re nature) have changed significantly since living here.

What a puzzling questionnaire. I was with it mostly until it got to the bit about "evaluating men and women." I would find it almost impossible to rank those attributes anyway, and I found it actually impossible given that the question didn't specify what I was evaluating them FOR. It couldn't be attractiveness or sex appeal, because those were both options to be ranked.

So I didn't complete it. I fail, I guess...

I completed it, but felt I should have been making notes to submit a critique of the assumptions I felt were lying behind your friend's questions.
